Garth Webb Secondary School

Garth Webb Secondary School in Oakville is named after D-Day Veteran, Lieutenant Garth Webb, who set out to ensure the sacrifices of Canadian Soldiers on D-Day were properly commemorated. He achieved this by spearheading an initiative to create the Juno Beach Centre, a museum dedicated to commemoration and education.

Mattina Mechanical Limited (MML) was engaged in a subcontract with Tambro Construction for this 154,000 square ft, three storey secondary school, featuring barrier-free accessibility for approximately 1200 students. MML’s scope included piping and fixtures, plumbing and drainage, sheet metal, HVAC piping, sprinklers, insulation and BAS controls.
