About this Project

Environment Canada – Canada Centre for Inland Waters – Lab Upgrades

This environmental science centre was established in 1967 and currently houses staff from a plethora of governmental agencies.

The Canada Centre for Inland Water works to understand and predict contaminations effect on aquatic ecosystems. The research and monitoring this Centre does is invaluable in assessing remedial measures and preserving aquatic life.

Throughout the entire project, the facility had to remain operational with all work taking place during office hours without interference to operations, or during afterhours or weekends.

CCIW underwent an Interior renovation of existing laboratories and mechanical equipment at the wastewater technology centre. The scope of work included piping systems, HVAC, plumbing fixtures, mechanical equipment, insulation, BAS controls and wiring, testing, balancing, demolition and refrigerant piping and insulation.
