We hire licensed plumbers, steam fitters, welders and gas fitters as well as registered apprentices in those fields. We encourage continued education and learning and provide our employees with opportunities to do so. Participating in the Skills Trade Alliance, MML has trained employees through: Job Connect, OYAP, Co-op placements for high school, college and university students, as well as OTAB.

Industry advocates are suggesting that there will be a shortage of trades-people in the near future due to low enrolment rates into the trades. This coupled with the current demographics of those in the trades reaching retirement in the next five years creates the making of great job opportunities in the trades.
